Before Reborn Foundation, Sharon faced the systemic vulnerability common along the Kisii-Kisumu Highway. Following the loss of her primary caregivers, the path forward was clouded by uncertainty, a narrative shared by many children in Western Kenya who find themselves at the intersection of grief and poverty.

The depth of her loss was profound, yet Sharon maintained a quiet determination. In these early years, survival often took precedence over schooling, and the dream of a professional future felt like a distant luxury. It was within this valley of loss that our community outreach team first encountered her potential.
